EazyPay signs agreement with American Express Middle East

American Express, American Express Middle East, EazyPay Eazy Financial Services, a Bahraini financial institute specialized in Point-of-Sale (POS) and online payment gateway acquiring services, has announced an agreement with American Express Middle East to enable American Express Card Members to use their Cards when transacting at EazyPay Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminals & Online Payment gateway across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This agreement is aligned with EazyPay’s mission to continually enhance the services and experiences offered to its merchants. EazyPay will allow its merchants to accept American Express when Card Members use contact and contactless payments.

Nayef Tawfeeq Al Alawi, Founder, MD & CEO of Eazy Financial Services, said, “This agreement with American Express significantly enhances the services we offer to our merchants. They will benefit from being connected with new customers, both local and international, which will bring great value to their business growth.”

Graziela Martins, Vice President Merchant Business of American Express Middle East said, “We are delighted to be partnering with EazyPay to expand the number of locations that accept American Express in the Kingdom, providing our Card Members with greater payment choice. This is part of our commitment to significantly expanding the places that accept American Express in the Kingdom and around the world.”

The agreement will allow American Express Card Members to use their Cards at a significant number of new locations, particularly local businesses for everyday spend, providing greater payment choices for customers.
