DGTAL revamps leadership as revenue tops €1m
By Milan Rojan
Hamburg- and Athens-based DGTAL has surpassed €1 million in annual revenue and has reshaped its leadership structure to accelerate growth across regulated industries.
The Agentic AI platform specialist for (re)insurance has appointed co-founder Vanda Giannara as chief executive officer. She has succeeded co-founder Arndt Gossmann, who has led the business since its launch and has remained majority shareholder and a member of the executive board.
Arndt Gossmann, Co-Founder & Managing Director, DGTAL, said, “We were convinced that AI would transform regulated, data-sensitive industries like insurance long before that view became conventional wisdom. Our clients have since validated that bet. Now the work is to turn that advantage into scale, and that calls for the next CEO.”
The company has also appointed Richard Hundt as chief technology officer. Natasa Maniou was named chief client officer, Nicola Robben chief operating officer, and Sirarpi Arshakyan chief of staff.
DGTAL has said its management team has reached an 80% female composition, while women have held fewer than 20% of technology leadership roles across Europe.
Vanda Giannara, CEO & Co-Founder, DGTAL, said, “I co-founded DGTAL on a belief that AI, done ethically and purposefully, augments human judgment in an unprecedented way. Collectively we are shaping a principled ecosystem where machines earn trust through transparency, governance and genuine usefulness.”
The company said it serves eight global clients in live production and has deployed its Agentic AI platform across regulated workflows. DGTAL has also extended into adjacent areas including HR, payroll and business process optimisation, and has set a target of doubling revenue within the next 12 months.
