Colt announces access to Oracle cloud services in Sweden via FastConnect

Colt Technology Services, Colt PrizmNet, USA, Latin AmericaColt Technology Services, a leading provider of agile, high bandwidth connectivity solutions and a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announced it is expanding the Colt IQ Network footprint and offering connectivity services to the Oracle Cloud Stockholm Region via Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) FastConnect. Oracle customers can harness the power of Oracle Cloud locally, including Oracle Autonomous Database, to unlock innovation and drive business growth.

This expansion allows customers to take advantage of on-demand, high-speed, secure connectivity from their sites to the Oracle Cloud. With Colt’s two Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) in Copenhagen and Stockholm, over 670 connected business sites and 45 connected data centres in the region, enterprises will be able to take control of their cloud migrations in the area. With OCI FastConnect, Colt’s offering ensures an easy, flexible, and economical way for enterprises in Sweden’s industrial and financial heart to connect to Oracle Cloud.

Colt’s relationship with Oracle began three years ago and allowed enterprises to take advantage of the 100Gbps optimised Colt IQ Network and On-Demand capabilities to connect to Oracle Cloud, supporting an optimal, end-to-end cloud migration and adoption experience with OCI FastConnect.
