Centreville Bank has selected Jack Henry to modernise its core processing and digital banking infrastructure as the Rhode Island-based institution seeks to support continued growth and strengthen customer experiences across New England.

The bank, which manages approximately $3 billion in assets and operates 26 branches across Rhode Island and Connecticut, will implement Jack Henry’s core banking platform alongside a suite of digital and operational solutions.

The Banno Digital Platform, which will provide enhanced digital banking services for both retail and business customers. The bank will also deploy JHA Treasury Management to expand its commercial banking and cash management capabilities.

In addition to core and digital banking upgrades, Centreville Bank will introduce Enterprise Workflow and the Synapsys CRM platform. The solutions are designed to automate internal processes, streamline employee workflows and provide a more connected experience for customers.

The new technology stack is expected to provide greater flexibility to introduce new products and services as customer expectations evolve.

“We were looking for modern technology to support our continued growth while helping us deliver the level of service and experience our customers and employees expect,” said Jillian J. DeShiro, EVP, Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Centreville Bank.

DeShiro added that the partnership with Jack Henry would enable the bank to introduce new capabilities as customer needs change while maintaining the personalised banking experience that differentiates Centreville Bank. She also cited the strong cultural alignment and shared commitment to community banking as key factors behind the decision.

The migration reflects a broader trend among community and mutual banks investing in modern core banking and digital platforms to enhance competitiveness, improve operational efficiency and meet rising customer expectations for seamless digital services.
