CellPoint Digital teams up with Cybersource to help merchants fight fraud

CellPoint Digital, a global leader in payment orchestration, announced it has teamed up with Cybersource, a Visa solution and a recognised worldwide leader in payments management, to provide merchants with a holistic solution for fraud management capable of aggregating transaction data across multiple acquirers.
With seamless integration into their platform, CellPoint Digital now offers merchants fraud management through Cybersource Decision Manager, one of the world’s largest fraud detection radars—which uses machine learning to support merchants by automatically classifying transactions as good, bad, or suspicious. With its advanced fraud capabilities and insights from 141 billion+ VisaNet transactions, Decision Manager helps merchants increase their acceptance rates, lower their review rates, and boost their bottom line.

The announcement comes as merchants everywhere are faced with rising levels of fraud. According to Cybersource’s annual fraud report, global fraud costs and KPIs increased (or worsened) for a second consecutive year. Yet, most merchants did not increase the share of revenue they spend to manage fraud, and 9-in-10 merchants have experienced at least one fraud management challenge this year.
