Why it matters: The partnership highlights growing convergence between FinTech, stablecoins and decentralised finance, making institutional-grade onchain yield products more accessible through regulated and user-friendly platforms.

Bitget has launched the bgBTC/USDGO vault, which enables its users to access institutional-grade onchain yield through the USDGO stablecoin.

The new product allows users to earn yield directly through the Bitget platform without having to move assets across multiple protocols or manage complex decentralised finance (DeFi) processes. The vault is available immediately to Bitget users.

Under the solution, assets deposited into the USDGO vault are allocated to a Morpho vault managed by yield curator Gauntlet. Returns generated through these onchain strategies are then distributed to USDGO vault holders.

“Stablecoins are becoming an increasingly important part of how users access financial opportunities. By introducing the USDGO stablecoin vault, powered by Gauntlet’s curated on-chain yield strategies, we’re making these opportunities more accessible through a familiar trading experience,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.

The product is supported by Morph, which provides the payments and settlement infrastructure behind the service. The company said its technology helps simplify access to regulated stablecoin-based yield opportunities while removing operational complexity for end users.

“This collaboration is a direct expression of what Morph’s network speed and capabilities make possible, connecting a regulated stablecoin and institutional-grade on-chain yield infrastructure to millions of users through a seamless, user-friendly interface,” said Kate Wong, Liquidity & DeFi Lead at Morph.

The launch builds on earlier initiatives that enabled Bitget users to earn yield on bgBTC (Bitget Wrapped BTC). With the addition of the USDGO vault, users can now access yield opportunities on both Bitcoin-linked and stablecoin-based products through the exchange.

“Earning on-chain used to mean moving your stablecoins off the exchange and managing them yourself. With this vault, Bitget users earn yield through the USDGO stablecoin vault right in the app, while we curate the strategy and manage the risk,” said Matt Dobel, VP of Growth at Gauntlet.

The launch reflects growing demand for simplified access to on-chain financial products, as exchanges seek to combine institutional-grade yield strategies with user-friendly digital asset experiences.
