Arrive taps Ingenico for parking and transit payment infrastructure
By Parth Prabhudesai

Ingenico has partnered with Arrive to expand unattended payment solutions for parking and transport ticketing systems across more than 30 countries.
The collaboration will integrate Ingenico’s self-service payment terminals with Arrive’s ARCHIPEL unattended payment gateway to support on-street parking kiosks and transport ticket vending machines in urban environments.
Under the partnership, Arrive plans to deploy new parking and ticketing kiosks globally while also upgrading a large part of its existing fleet of around 360,000 kiosks using Ingenico’s payment technology.
The companies said the terminals are designed for outdoor and solar-powered environments, supporting secure PIN entry, digital wallets, and local payment methods. The systems are aimed at improving payment reliability and helping cities modernise mobility infrastructure.
José Luis Arias Muerza, Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Ingenico, said cities are increasingly looking for secure and reliable payment infrastructure.
“Our partnership with Arrive brings together proven payment technology and deep mobility expertise to enable seamless, unattended payments at scale — from on-street parking to transport ticketing,” Muerza said.
Debbie Guerra, General Manager of Payments, Automotive and Data at Arrive, said the collaboration is focused on improving urban mobility experiences for users.
“By collaborating with Ingenico and leveraging their industry-leading payment terminals, we are empowering city authorities and mobility operators to simplify parking and transit transactions,” Guerra said.
The companies plan to begin pilot programmes for the new parking kiosks during 2026, with initial commercial deployments expected from 2027 onwards.
The partnership reflects growing demand for digital and unattended payment infrastructure as cities modernise transportation and parking systems while supporting broader sustainability and smart-city initiatives.
