Liberty Finance went live with Lendscape for lending operations
By Divya Shah
Liberty Finance has completed the implementation of Lendscape’s Asset Finance platform, a key in its digital transformation strategy and providing a single, real-time view of its lending operations.
The alternative finance provider integrated the platform with Liberty Live, its proprietary customer management system, through API connectivity that enabled automated data exchange between the two systems. The implementation created a complete end-to-end data cycle, giving Liberty Finance real-time visibility across its lending portfolio while reducing manual processes.
For Liberty Finance, the deployment eliminated manual data transfers between systems, improved data integrity and accelerated access to information required for day-to-day lending decisions. The company said the enhanced data capabilities would support increased automation and future AI-enabled initiatives.
Ed Ockleford, Head of Technology at Liberty Finance, said, “Our systems now share data automatically, so we have real-time visibility and greater data integrity, and our people spend less time moving information around and more time with customers. That accurate, up-to-date data is the foundation for safely increasing automation, and for the AI-enabled processes we want to build on top of it.”
Liberty Finance selected Lendscape’s platform for its ability to validate integrations in a sandbox environment before deployment, as well as its flexibility to be configured to the company’s specific operational requirements. The firm said these capabilities helped support a smooth implementation and successful go-live.
Steve Taplin, Chief Product Officer at Lendscape, said, “With Liberty Live and our Asset Finance platform now working as one, Liberty Finance is continuing its drive towards smarter, data-driven operations, cutting manual effort and lifting productivity across the business. It’s a secure, reliable base built for exactly these foundations, and to support the supervised, AI-enabled processes Liberty Finance is moving towards.”
The integration is expected to provide Liberty Finance with a stronger technology foundation for data-driven lending operations while supporting future productivity enhancements and AI-enabled workflows across the business.
