Singapore-based payment institution dtcpay has completed its $25 million Series A funding round, securing additional investment from SBI Group, alongside participation from Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek.

The funding round was initially led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India in April 2026. SBI Group joined the round through its subsidiary SBI Ventures Asset Pte Ltd and the SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund, adding further strategic support for dtcpay’s expansion plans.

The new capital will help dtcpay scale its product offerings, expand its merchant network, and strengthen its position in the stablecoin payments market. The company plans to continue investing in its product roadmap through the remainder of 2026, including the launch of a revamped business portal for enterprise customers and new consumer-focused features within the dtcpay app.

Alice Liu, founder and CEO of dtcpay, said the investment would support the company’s ambition to transform cross-border payments through regulated stablecoin infrastructure. She added that backing from SBI Group, alongside ongoing support from existing investors, validates the growing role of compliant stablecoin payment solutions in global financial services.

As a Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)-licensed Major Payment Institution, dtcpay has established a regulatory footprint that enables it to operate across Singapore and other key markets. The company also holds an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence in Luxembourg, supporting its expansion across Europe. According to dtcpay, its regulatory-first strategy provides institutional clients with access to licensed and compliant digital payment infrastructure.

The completed Series A round brings together investors with expertise spanning financial services, FinTech infrastructure, and international growth. Beyond capital, the company expects its investor network to support future market expansion and product development initiatives.

Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, part of Vertex Holdings, backed the company in the initial tranche of the round and brings experience in scaling technology businesses across Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, SBI Group adds expertise across banking, securities, insurance, asset management, digital assets, and FinTech investments.

Genedant Capital, a Singapore-based fund management firm regulated by MAS, and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek also participated in the round. Their involvement is expected to strengthen dtcpay’s access to strategic capital and business networks as it expands internationally.
