DBS Bank India expands digital payments platform with Juspay integration
By Divya Shah
DBS Bank India has expanded the capabilities of its merchant collections platform, DBS MAX, through a partnership with payment infrastructure provider Juspay, introducing a digital payment management solution aimed at improving payment efficiency and resilience for businesses.
The integration brings payment orchestration capabilities to DBS MAX, enabling merchants to optimise transaction flows, improve payment success rates, and gain consolidated visibility across digital payment channels. The solution supports intelligent payment routing based on merchant-defined rules and real-time payment performance, helping businesses manage digital collections more effectively.
The enhanced platform is a unified dashboard that provides merchants with a single view of payment activity across gateways and payment methods. Businesses can monitor transaction success rates, refunds, and reconciliation processes, allowing them to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve payment performance.
Divyesh Dalal, Managing Director and Country Head, Global Transaction Services, Corporate Banking- Financial Institutions and SMEs, DBS Bank India, said: “As a future-forward bank, we envision our partnership with Juspay as the first step towards providing an intelligent payments platform offering a more streamlined merchant and end-user experience. Leveraging our global credibility, local distribution and technology prowess, DBS is uniquely placed to provide advanced digital solutions to a wide number of enterprises across India. This marks the beginning of a new era in treasury management for corporates.”
The FinTech-focused enhancement also reduces operational complexity by enabling merchants to add or switch between supported payment aggregators with minimal technical effort. The platform’s gateway-agnostic architecture includes card tokenisation capabilities, helping merchants maintain continuity when changing payment providers.
For businesses managing high volumes of digital transactions, the solution offers greater flexibility and automation while reducing the need for multiple integrations. The consolidated payment intelligence available through DBS MAX can also help merchants tailor customer engagement and promotional strategies based on payment behaviour and performance insights.
“By partnering with Juspay, DBS Bank India brings its established payments franchise and Juspay’s leading payment orchestration capabilities together to further enhance DBS MAX for businesses.” said Sheetal Lalwani, Co-Founder and COO of Juspay.
The partnership reflects growing demand among enterprises for embedded fintech solutions that simplify payment operations, improve transaction resilience, and provide greater visibility across increasingly fragmented digital payment ecosystems.
