United Fintech names three new partners to drive growth
By Milan Rojan
Danish FinTech company United Fintech has expanded its ownership partnership and senior leadership team as it has entered the next phase of its growth as infrastructure for wholesale finance.
The company has appointed Guy Hopkins, Rasmus Bagger and Darren Coote as new partners, taking the total partnership to six alongside founder and chief executive Christian Frahm, Tom Robinson and Marc Levin.
Founded in 2020, United Fintech has developed a platform serving banks, hedge funds, brokers and asset managers. More than 250 financial institutions have used its technology, including 11 of the 12 largest banks globally, according to the company.
United Fintech has said its new partnership structure has been designed to provide long-term ownership for executives who have contributed to the company’s development. The partnership has been established separately from its external shareholders, which include Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citi, Danske Bank, Standard Chartered and Danske Growth Capital.
Christian Frahm, Founder and CEO of United Fintech, has said: “We built United Fintech 1.0 together. Now we are building the infrastructure layer for the future of wholesale finance.”
The company has also established a four-member senior leadership team. Frahm will continue as CEO, while Rasmus Bagger has become Chief Commercial Officer, Marc Levin has returned as Chief Operating Officer and Guy Hopkins has taken the role of Chief Product Officer.
United Fintech has highlighted the development of AI-native products and shared infrastructure as part of its longer-term strategy.
The appointments have come as the firm has sought to expand its role across wholesale banking, capital markets and asset management. It has positioned its infrastructure model as a means of supporting technology collaboration between financial institutions while maintaining a neutral platform approach.
