Uniswap launches Earn with Morpho for onchain lending
By Milan Rojan
Uniswap Labs has partnered with Morpho to launch Uniswap Earn, a new feature within the Uniswap App that has enabled users to earn yield on idle digital assets through onchain lending.
Powered by Morpho’s open credit network, the offering has allowed users to deposit supported assets into lending vaults while retaining self-custody and the ability to withdraw funds at any time. The companies said the feature is designed to help users generate returns on assets that would otherwise remain inactive between trades.
Anthony Beshay, Staff Product Manager at Uniswap Labs, said: “Uniswap was built to give people open, direct access to onchain markets and Earn is a natural next step. It gives users a simple way to put their assets to work without needing to manage concentrated liquidity positions.”
At launch, the integration has introduced three Morpho Vaults supporting USDC, USDT and ETH. The vaults, curated by Gauntlet, allocate deposited capital across underlying lending markets on Morpho, where borrowers access liquidity and depositors receive interest generated from lending activity.
The companies said the integration has embedded Morpho’s lending infrastructure directly into the Uniswap App, allowing users to access onchain credit markets without leaving the platform. The launch has reflected a broader trend towards integrating decentralised finance services into existing crypto applications.
Paul Frambot, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Morpho, said the collaboration expands access to the company’s open credit network while increasing liquidity across its lending markets. He added that deeper markets strengthen Morpho’s infrastructure for future integrations with wallets, exchanges and FinTech platforms.
Uniswap Labs said the launch has expanded its product offering beyond decentralised trading, while Morpho said the partnership has reinforced its strategy of providing permissionless lending infrastructure that third-party applications can integrate under their own brands.
