The programme, known as Cosmos, has modernised the bank’s core banking infrastructure across customer segments, accounts and loan products. According to NBG, the transformation has involved more than 1,000 people working across three continents and has accounted for approximately 500,000 working days.

The project has been delivered using the Finacle core banking platform from Infosys, with the bank aiming to modernise its technology architecture and support future digital banking initiatives.
