Bloomberg, Lombard Odier collaborate on investment management
By Aarav Garg

Bloomberg and Lombard Odier have expanded their collaboration to deploy a unified investment risk management framework across Lombard Odier’s Wealth Management, Private Banking and Asset Management divisions.
The expanded deployment builds on Bloomberg’s existing investment risk solutions already used within Lombard Odier’s asset management operations. The group-wide rollout is designed to support more consistent investment oversight, operational efficiency and scalable risk management processes across different business lines and geographies.
Lombard Odier said the initiative aligns with its broader strategy of standardising investment risk frameworks across asset classes while improving transparency, controls and data consistency. The platform integrates research, portfolio construction, compliance, execution and operational workflows into a single environment.
The firms said the system is intended to provide a more unified approach to investment decision-making through shared datasets, multi-asset analytics and integrated compliance capabilities. The framework also aims to support scalable workflows and improve coordination between investment teams across the organisation.
Bloomberg’s Buy-Side Solutions platform includes portfolio and risk analytics, order and execution management, trade compliance and operations capabilities integrated with the Bloomberg Terminal ecosystem.
The partnership reflects continued investment by wealth managers and asset management firms in integrated data and risk infrastructure as financial institutions seek to modernise portfolio management processes and manage increasingly complex regulatory and operational requirements across global investment operations.
