Goldwise Unveils GoldwiseConnect for Banks and FinTechs
By Parth Prabhudesai

Goldwise has launched GoldwiseConnect, a new infrastructure platform that enables banks, FinTech firms and wealth management platforms to offer real-time trading in physical precious metals without building their own trading or custody systems.
The platform provides access to gold, silver, platinum and palladium through a single API layer, combining pricing, execution, funding, custody and recordkeeping into one integrated solution. The launch reflects growing demand among financial institutions to expand access to alternative assets through embedded finance models.
Historically, offering physical precious metals has required coordination between multiple providers, including custodians, liquidity venues, vault operators and payment systems. This fragmented structure has created operational complexity and limited adoption among digital financial platforms.
GoldwiseConnect aims to simplify this process by allowing institutions to integrate physical precious metals into their platforms more efficiently. The solution supports multiple currencies and custody locations while enabling direct ownership of physical assets rather than indirect exposure.
Gareth Tucker, Co-founder of Goldwise, said, “The industry has long discussed the need for better infrastructure for digital gold, but in practice platforms still face significant complexity in bringing physical precious metals to market.”
He added, “GoldwiseConnect solves this by providing a single infrastructure layer that handles trading, funding, custody and recordkeeping, allowing partners to focus on their customer experience rather than building and maintaining complex systems.”
Jatin Patel, Co-founder of Goldwise, said the platform has been designed to support the shift toward programmable financial infrastructure. “GoldwiseConnect gives financial institutions real-time access to physical precious metals and the ability to turn user intent into executed trades through a single API,” he said.
The launch follows the rollout of Goldwise’s direct-to-consumer investment app and forms part of a broader strategy to provide shared infrastructure for both retail investors and financial institutions.
Based in Cardiff, Goldwise recently raised £1.27 million in a pre-seed funding round to support product development and future platform growth.
