ADIB rolls out cardless cash withdrawals via mobile app

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has introduced a Cardless Cash Withdrawal feature through its mobile app, allowing customers to withdraw cash from over 500 ADIB ATMS without needing a debit card. The feature also allows users to send cash to friends and family—including non-ADIB customers—using only a mobile number, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to delivering seamless and accessible digital banking experiences.

With this new capability, customers can initiate a withdrawal or transfer directly through the app. Recipients receive a one-time Collection Code via SMS or app notification, which can be used at any ADIB ATM within a two-hour window to access the specified amount. The fully digital process is designed for ease of use, offering a fast, secure, and branchless alternative to traditional withdrawals.
