Zions Bancorporation taps nCino to streamline lending process
By Gloria Methri
Zions Bancorporation has selected cloud banking platform nCino to support the digital transformation of its loan origination process. The bank aims to streamline operations and improve customer experiences across its commercial and small business segments.
The implementation will incorporate nCino tools such as Banking Advisor, Commercial Pricing, and Profitability and Analysis, enabling enhanced decision-making and greater operational efficiency.
This move follows Zions’ broader digital modernisation efforts, which have included replacing its core loan and deposit systems and upgrading most of its customer-facing digital platforms. The adoption of nCino marks a continued investment in technology to support the bank’s evolving service model.
“Working with nCino, we are focused on enhancing our lending end-to-end process, which improves the speed and flexibility with which we respond to customers,” said Scott McLean, President and Chief Operating Officer at Zions Bancorporation. “What most customers really want is an answer as quickly as possible, tailored to their specific situation. Utilising nCino’s extensive capabilities is important to create value for our customers.”
“We are proud to work closely with Zions as it builds upon its national reputation for relationship banking and continues transformational change by tailoring its products and solutions for the future needs of its customers,” said Paul Clarkson, Executive Vice President of Global Revenue at nCino. “Through this initiative, we are committed to supporting Zions Bancorporation in advancing its business and promoting sustained leadership and innovation in the banking industry.”
