MCB Bank & Fauree launch supply chain finance platform for SMEs in Pakistan

MCB Bank Limited, through its Islamic banking arm, has entered a strategic partnership with Fauree Tech Pvt. Ltd. to strengthen digital supply chain financing for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Pakistan.

This collaboration includes the launch of Pakistan’s first Sharia-compliant supply Chain Finance (SCF) platform, designed to enhance financial accessibility for SMEs by providing structured liquidity solutions while reducing reliance on informal lending channels. By leveraging technology-driven solutions, the partnership aims to streamline access to working capital and improve business cash flow management.

The partnership was formalised at a signing ceremony held at MCB Islamic Bank’s Head Office. Key representatives from MCB Islamic Bank included President & CEO Zargham Khan Durrani, Head RBG – North Ashar Iqbal, CIO Abrar Aleem, CRO Salman Naseer, Dept. Head PMO Jawad Ahmed and Div. Head SME Shahid Mehmood. Co-founder Azhar represented Fauree alongside other team members.
