MCB Bank & Fauree launch supply chain finance platform for SMEs in Pakistan

MCB bank, Fintech News, Fraud Management, Risk Management, FinTech Solutions, Pakistan Bank, BPC, AI, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech APAC, FinTech Pakistan NewsMCB Bank Limited, through its Islamic banking arm, has entered a strategic partnership with Fauree Tech Pvt. Ltd. to strengthen digital supply chain financing for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Pakistan.

This collaboration includes the launch of Pakistan’s first Sharia-compliant supply Chain Finance (SCF) platform, designed to enhance financial accessibility for SMEs by providing structured liquidity solutions while reducing reliance on informal lending channels. By leveraging technology-driven solutions, the partnership aims to streamline access to working capital and improve business cash flow management.

The partnership was formalised at a signing ceremony held at MCB Islamic Bank’s Head Office. Key representatives from MCB Islamic Bank included President & CEO Zargham Khan Durrani, Head RBG – North Ashar Iqbal, CIO Abrar Aleem, CRO Salman Naseer, Dept. Head PMO Jawad Ahmed and Div. Head SME Shahid Mehmood. Co-founder Azhar represented Fauree alongside other team members.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in Sharia-compliant Supply Chain Finance,” said Azhar Tasadduq, Co-Founder & CEO of Fauree. “By aligning innovation with Islamic principles, we are setting new industry benchmarks and empowering businesses with ethical and efficient liquidity solutions.”

Fauree, a Saudi company with operations across the GCC, Pakistan, and Canada, offers a supply chain platform designed to optimise financial processes, enhance cash flow, and improve transparency. The collaboration with MCB Islamic Bank is expected to reshape SME financing in Pakistan, providing businesses with structured and sustainable financial solutions.
