YES BANK joins Assam Gov to integrate eGRAS portal

YES BANK, Breaking News, UPI Payment, NCPI, RuPay, Credit Cards, India Assam, GOI, GOA, CBDC, eGRASYES BANK has announced signing an MoU with the Government of Assam to integrate the eGRAS (Government Receipt Accounting System) portal.

Post integration, the Bank will be authorized to act as an intermediary for facilitating the online collection of Tax and Non-Tax Revenue on behalf of the Government of Assam.

Citizens can pay their dues using online banking modes such as Net Banking, payment gateway, Debit and Credit Cards, UPI, and over-the-counter deposits through YES BANK’s branch network.

The MoU was signed by Shri Balen Chandra Boro, AFS, Director, Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries Assam, on behalf of the Government representing the Governor of Assam and representatives from YES BANK.

Simultaneously, YES BANK has signed an MoU with Info Tech Corporation of Goa for the launch of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) as their enabler for Digital Collections in the presence of Dr Pramod P Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa and Arun Agrawal, Country Head, Institutional Banking, YES BANK.

Following the association, Pramod P Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, tweeted, “Launched the new logo of the Info Tech Corporation of Goa in the presence of IT Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte, Info-Tech Corp Chairman and MLA ChandrakantS3. The Govt of Goa signed MoU with Paytm for the digital gateway for the Govt of Goa services and with the YESBANK for the Central Bank Digital Currency Services. I congratulate Info Tech Corporation of Goa for becoming Swayampurna. I am sure it will expand its scope of operation beyond Goa.”
