Temenos today announced that European open banking platform provider Tink has joined the former’s MarketPlace. The new development is expected to enable Temenos’ customers to access Tink’s technology through Infinity digital front-office platform. The collaboration will also enhance banks’ ability to gain insights and offer multi-banking services for their clients.

Daniel Kjellén, Co-founder and CEO of Tink, said, “The Temenos MarketPlace has a strong retail banking hub across Europe that we are excited to become a part of. By adding our open banking platform with deep bank connectivity, we can help banks in the Temenos community seamlessly access real-time, enriched financial data, enabling them to get a better understanding of their customers’ finances, and to build new digital services that help people better manage their money.”

Tink’s addition will enable Temenos‘ users to leverage open banking and personal finance management solutions for supporting their banking customers with a detailed view of accounts, transactions and data-driven financial services.

According to Temenos, its MarketPlace enables banks to use FinTech solutions that complement the company’s software. Recently, the company announced the launch of its end-to-end corporate lending platform that aims to support banks to digitally transform their entire corporate banking business. The new platform is expected to reduce cost and drive operational efficiencies, improve customer experiences, and create offers for customers that are customised to individual corporate needs.

Joaquin De Valenzuela Muley, Senior Vice President and Business Line Director for Temenos Infinity, added, “Tink provides a wealth of personal financial management and open banking solutions and expertise. We are excited to offer Tink’s solutions on Temenos MarketPlace so that our customers can benefit from their innovative products to ultimately add value to their own client experiences and enable a broader open banking strategy.”

IBS Intelligence reported that Italian bank BNL has launched a multi-banking service with Tink. BNL forms a part of the international group BNP Paribas. The collaboration aims to strengthen the collaboration between BNP Paribas and Tink that began in the first half of 2020.
