The software-as-a-service (SaaS) e-commerce platform provides merchants across 120 countries with enterprise-grade functionality, customisation and performance.

Commenting on the partnership, Anthony Drury, Managing Director at Zip UK, said the partnership will help to propel our merchant and customer growth in the UK.

“We’ve built a brilliant team of FinTech and e-commerce experts in the UK and are recruiting at pace. We’re well positioned to drive our ambitious UK growth plans and are delighted to work together with BigCommerce to shape the future of e-commerce. Merchants on the platform will be able to offer a fair, transparent and interest-free payment choice to their customers,” Drury said.

The fintech allows merchants can activate Zip instantly and aims to provide results quicker than any other digital payment solution. Competitive and flexible pricing options include reduction of merchant fees as a merchant’s transaction volume increases.

Russell Klein, Chief Commercial Officer for BigCommerce, added: “With so many options in today’s retail environment, merchants need to be thoughtful about decreasing barriers to purchase for their customers – including providing easy-to-use alternative payment methods at checkout.”

“Zip is a trusted global leader in instalment-based payments, and we are excited to welcome them as Elite Partners. Our merchants and their customers will benefit from Zip’s transparent Buy Now, Pay Later financing solutions.”
