SumUp to support local businesses with Google My Business partnership

European FinTech SumUp announced a partnership with Google for enabling merchants using Google My Business to add support links to Gift Cards directly to their Business Profile on Google, amidst COVID-19. The new solution allows customers & supporters to buy Gift Cards through SumUp while searching for local businesses on Google in the UK, the US, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Austria, and Switzerland.

SumUp is a FinTech that allows businesses of all sizes to receive payments, both in-store and online. Its 100% digital sign-up and quick and easy set-up allow merchants to be initiate digital transactions within minutes from receiving their card terminal.
Recently, SumUp announced the launch of its online payment tool for helping businesses to cope up with social distancing measures. The new solution will enable merchants to showcase their products remotely and facilitate payment transactions for their businesses.
