Payment Technology and service provider EVO Payments has announced that the company has entered into a strategic partnership with On Track Innovations(OTI), a global provider of cashless and near field communication (NFC) payment solutions, to offer end-to-end payment solutions to independent software vendors (ISVs) and merchants focused on unattended retail.

The collaboration is expected to assist a broad range of unattended applications, including kiosks, automated retail, laundromats, vending machines, micro-markets, EV charging stations, games, digital air and vacuum machines, transit, and more.

“As COVID-19 has amplified the usage of cashless, and particularly contactless, payments, we are pleased to work with OTI to offer unattended retail merchants a full line of digital payment solutions. These systems, which incorporate NFC technologies, will help merchants adopt solutions that can support their business needs during these unprecedented times and sustain growth in the future,” said Brendan Tansill, EVO’s President, the Americas.

Both EVO and OTI will offer EMV-certified solutions shortening integration and time to market, enabling ISVs and their respective merchants to accept cashless and contactless payments seamlessly within their businesses. The complete line of modular, contactless payment solutions and components includes payment readers, cloud-based management systems, controllers, and more.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with EVO to provide integrated cashless solutions that are secure, affordable, and easy-to-use. We have already deployed hundreds of thousands of payment solutions to automated retail, self-service kiosk, unattended vending, EV charging stations, and mass transit e-ticketing systems. This partnership will allow us to continue to serve additional businesses with contactless payments backed by EVO’s secure payment processing services,” said Yehuda Holtzman, CEO at OTI.

Recently, EVO Payments secured a $150 mn investment from Madison Dearborn Partners.

Established since 1989, EVO Payments is a leading integrated merchant acquirers and payment processors with business activities in 50 markets and 150+ currencies around the world.
