Cloud9 partners with OpenFin for voice trading API deployment

New York-based Cloud9 Technologies, a cloud-based communication solution for the financial markets has announced that the company has partnered with OpenFin, the operating system (OS) of finance to streamline the deployment of Cloud9’s voice trading APIs for institutional traders.
Through the partnership, Cloud9 and OpenFin are soaring up the focus on mobility and universal access to the virtual trading floor to empower firms with the optionality and flexibility they seeking in their daily workflows. The collaboration enables customers to connect to Cloud9’s voice collaboration platform seamlessly. Internal applications, as well as applications in the OpenFin ecosystem, can choose Cloud9’s voice metadata via API’s exposed on the OpenFin message bus.
“The profile of today’s institutional trader is evolving, and what they need is anytime, anywhere access without being tied down to a single trading desk. By teaming up with OpenFin, we’re allowing individuals to easily work from the trading floor or from any remote location they choose,” said Brian Hunt, Chief Administration Officer and Head of Partnerships at Cloud9 Technologies.
As the demand for voice trading solutions are continuously escalating across the institutional marketplace, the partnership between the companies expects to empower and connect industry professionals both on and off the trading floor.
