The platform will enable ZeroPay to make accurate credit decisions and limit assignments in the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) segment.

Launched by the Acharya group, ZeroPay is an OTT-based BNPL FinTech start-up seeking to change consumer credit with its cutting-edge technology platform which allows customers to shop anywhere and pay in easy EMI at Zero interest, Zero penalty and Zero late fees. ZeroPay plans to scale exponentially and help consumers in small ticket payments for everyday usages like grocery purchases, restaurants, and online shopping.

“Scienaptic is our strategic partner and is helping us build the right risk scorecards, decisioning strategy and credit limit based on risk assessment with a platform to execute decisioning in real-time,” said Krishna Basani, CEO of ZeroPay. “This platform will allow us to make loan decisions and approve credit faster and in larger volumes, while managing our risk.”

“BNPL is one of the hottest growth products in consumer lending in India and Scienaptic has a ton of experience in this segment, supporting some of the largest e-commerce and marketplace players over the past three years,” said Joydip Gupta, APAC Head, Scienaptic. “We hope to bring our experience in the form of our underwriting models and our decisioning platform to help ZeroPay scale up to market leadership position, while maintaining a very healthy portfolio quality.”

Recently, IBS Intelligence reported that Scienaptic AI, a leading global AI-powered credit decision platform provider, had announced that Montana-based Intrepid Credit Union has chosen its platform to boost its credit decisions.

Established in 1936 as Helena U.S. Employees Federal Credit Union, Intrepid Credit Union has multiplied its member base over the decades, becoming a notable and reliable name in the community of Helena and Bozeman. Scienaptic’s credit decisioning platform will enable the credit union to tap into untapped credit opportunities, increase loan accessibility and transform the member experience.
