By Pavithra R
Vox Financial Partners (Vox), a global consulting firm supporting financial institutions in planning, resourcing, and delivery of complex regulatory change has announced that the firm has partnered with Future Value Consultants (FVC), a provider of analytics and stress testing for the structured products market.
Under the partnership, the companies will create SEI + Opal: Ascend, a fixed price service for fully automated production of structured product documentation, including PRIIPs Key Information Documents (KIDs).
Ascend will combine StructuredEdgeI, FVC’s proven PRIIPs calculation platform, with Opal, Vox’s document generation platform to deliver a robust unified solution that automates structured products document generation, providing:
- PRIIPs analytics and KID templates for a wide range of products and markets
- Automatic generation of detailed, richly-styled documents
- Full calculation and simulation methodology
- Calculation results integrated directly into the KID
- Branded, customisable PRIIPs KID templates
- Automation of related documents, such as term sheets or marketing collateral
“Both companies have a solid track record of being extremely flexible and creative organisations that translate innovative ideas into working solutions. Nothing in the market today offers our proposition of robust analytics, a powerful document generator, full automation – all for a fixed price. We think Ascend is perfectly suited to meet the continued growth in ticket volume driven by new technology in the structured products market,” said Terry Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of Vox.
The partnership is expected to give clients access to technology and specialist skills from both experienced teams. Ascend enables straight through processing for detailed structured products documentation via one API. The platform integrates real-time calculations with pre-defined, customisable templates built using a Microsoft Word-based template author.
The new platform aims to provide structured products manufacturers with the ability to automate documentation with data validation and error handling via a simple API, accelerating new product development while controlling costs.
“Our integrated technology platform incorporates decades of expertise in the structured product market. Ascend allows clients to reduce cost, increase capacity, and improve control – so they can focus on expansion of their core business. We are delighted to add strong documentation capabilities alongside our analytics to achieve this,” said Tim Mortimer, Managing Director at FVC.
Founded in 2015, Vox FP provides consulting services and software products to top-tier banks and broker-dealer clients in the US and Europe. The firm combines global banking and regulatory experience, consultants, and advanced technology to help global financial institutions execute significant change projects.
