Volante Technologies, a provider of Payments-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, has partnered with Circle Internet Group, issuer of the USDC stablecoin, to help financial institutions integrate stablecoin payment and settlement capabilities into their existing payment operations.

Under the partnership, Volante will incorporate USDC workflows into its AI-powered Payments Platform, enabling banks and financial institutions to assess how stablecoin transactions can operate alongside traditional payment rails, operational controls, and on- and off-ramp requirements. The integration is designed to allow institutions to explore digital dollar capabilities without deploying a separate digital asset infrastructure.

Nikhil Chandhok, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Circle, said, “As stablecoins become an increasingly important component of modern payments infrastructure, financial institutions need practical ways to understand how digital dollars can fit within existing operations. Our collaboration with Volante does exactly that by bringing USDC capabilities into the systems, controls, and processes banks already use, and helping them move from exploration toward operational implementation.”

The collaboration will give Volante clients access to key USDC-related workflows, including minting and redemption, beneficiary wallet registration, account funding, payment notifications, and wallet-to-wallet transfers through the same payments environment they currently use.

Volante serves a broad banking customer base, including four of the world’s five largest corporate banks and seven of the top 10 banks in the United States.

The company said the partnership will help these institutions evaluate practical use cases for stablecoins while maintaining existing governance, compliance controls, and operational frameworks.

The move reflects a growing industry shift toward multi-rail payment architectures, where traditional payment systems increasingly coexist with digital asset-based settlement networks.

By combining USDC capabilities with established banking infrastructure, the partnership aims to help financial institutions explore new approaches to cross-border payments, settlement, and liquidity management while preserving interoperability with existing systems.

Deepak Gupta, Chief Product, Engineering, and Delivery Officer, Volante Technologies, said, “Volante clients can soon test USDC workflows within our AI-powered Payments Platform, including how stablecoin activity can be orchestrated alongside existing rails, operational controls, and on- and off-ramp requirements. We look forward to future collaboration around Circle Mint, potential joint go-to-market opportunities, and USDC via Volante.”

Both companies indicated that the collaboration could expand further through initiatives involving Circle Mint and joint go-to-market activities, supporting broader adoption of stablecoin-enabled payment services within the banking sector.
