Viyona Fintech launches UPI Switch at Bharat Cooperative Bank

Viyona Fintech, a Hyderabad-based technology service provider, has gone live with its UPI Switch at Bharat Cooperative Bank, enabling the lender to connect its core banking systems with India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ecosystem.

With the launch of UPI Switch, Viyona aims to expand its footprint in the country’s digital payments and banking infrastructure market.

Viyona’s UPI Switch serves as the technology layer that facilitates the processing of UPI transactions while supporting functions such as transaction routing, reconciliation, monitoring, and operational controls. Through the integration, Bharat Cooperative Bank can streamline its participation in the UPI network and manage payment flows more efficiently.

The go-live marks Viyona’s transition from developing and certifying its UPI Switch technology to operating it in a live banking environment.
