Viva.com, SUNMI, Neobank, Europe, FinTech, Tap to Pay on iPhone, BANCOMAT, Mobile Payments, EuropeViva.com, a European technology bank that facilitates merchant payments, has partnered with SUNMI, a player in the global hardware technology ecosystem. Through this collaboration, Viva.com’s Tap on Any Device technology will be available on SUNMI’s Android hardware portfolio.

This enables merchants to enhance their customer service and business efficiency with fewer operational costs and a more streamlined use of technology and human capital.

The joint solution benefits the retail and hospitality space across Europe and is currently integrating with hundreds of thousands of SUNMI devices. The partnership with SUNMI will accelerate businesses’ digital transformation across the continent.

Viva.com’s unique technology payment solutions allow SUNMI devices to double their use as payment terminals, accepting contactless NFC with Pin on Glass and QR code payments while reading barcodes, taking orders, or checking out customers at a point of sale.

Whether mobile, desktop, smart interactive or self-checkout, SUNMI terminals instantly become the all-in-one device merchants need to run their business without the complexities linked to multiple vendors or cumbersome, legacy card terminals. The joint solution supports different checkout journeys, elevating customer service, as transactions can be completed anywhere, eliminating queues and long waiting times.

Michele Petrelli, Head of Strategic ISVs & Hardware Partners at Viva.com said,, “Merchants often find themselves forced to navigate through multiple vendors to run their business effectively, which can be time-consuming and detract from servicing customers. Through our partnership with SUNMI, we’ve eliminated this issue. Together, we’re passionate about accelerating the rollout of digital payments via a future-proof all-in-one solution that delivers both flexibility and quality, allowing merchants more time to focus on what really matters: growth.”

“Our partnership with Viva.com brings innovative and disruptive payment solutions to our wide product portfolio,” said Piotr Was, Managing director of Europe at SUNMI. At SUNMI, we believe that not all soft-pos solutions for all devices and platforms are equal. The partnership with Viva.com is a major step in the convergence between Merchant Digitization and Payment, which we envision becoming an even more critical trend over the coming years.
