Vista Bank has strengthened its business development by selecting SBS as its partner for banking software.

SBS, a global FinTech, announced in April that it would extend its SBP Core Amplitude platform to serve microfinance institutions (MFIs) across Africa. Vista Bank Burkina Faso confirmed the selection of SBP Core Amplitude for its core banking modernisation, complementing the platform’s proven track record in empowering micro-enterprises and financial inclusion.

Vista Bank Burkina Faso is set to migrate its core to SBP Core Amplitude, benefiting from a platform already adopted by several institutions, including KCB Group, BGFI Bank, Orabank, Coris Bank, Advans, and Scolaris Finance. This partnership reinforces Vista Bank’s expansion ambitions across 25 African markets by 2026 with a digitally agile, scalable, and fully compliant core infrastructure.

This cohesive architecture enables institutions to launch new products microloans, SME lending, and digital wallets, with speed and regulatory integrity.

SBP empowers organisations with accelerated market entry, enabling go-live within weeks, an essential advantage for first movers targeting underserved regions. The platform aligns with Vista Bank’s mission to expand microfinance services, directly contributing to financial inclusion in areas where over 50% of the population remains unbanked.

By centralising processing, SBP enhances operational efficiency, reduces complexity and costs, and ensures 24/7 system availability, strengthening client trust. Additionally, the platform’s built-in compliance capabilities ensure seamless adherence to national microfinance standards and broader regulatory frameworks, reinforcing institutional credibility.
