valU has launched its digital onboarding feature on Noon, as the licensed Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) solution in Egypt under the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) FinTech licence.

This strategic initiative enables Noon shoppers to access valU’s suite of financial and lifestyle services seamlessly, without the need to visit a physical branch or download a separate application. As the inaugural BNPL application operating under the FRA’s new licence, the launch underscores Egypt’s commitment to fostering financial innovation and advancing digital transformation across the consumer finance landscape.

Through the integration, first-time users at Noon can complete a fully digital onboarding process, powered by electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) verification and e-signature capabilities, requiring only a National ID. Once valU is selected as the preferred payment method at checkout, new users are instantly redirected to the streamlined registration flow within the Noon platform.

The end-to-end paperless process ensures immediate approval, allowing shoppers to complete purchases without leaving the marketplace or visiting a valU location, demonstrating a customer-centric approach that combines convenience, speed, and regulatory compliance.

With this launch, valU reinforces its position as a pioneer in Egypt’s digital financial ecosystem, delivering innovative payment solutions that align with modern consumer expectations and the broader goals of financial inclusion and digital-first experiences.
