USA Technologies appoints former PwC partner R. Wayne Jackson as CFO

USA Technologies, a premier payment technology service provider of integrated cashless and mobile transactions in the self-service retail market, has announced the joining of R. Wayne Jackson as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Mr. Jackson will oversee the finance organization and will lead all aspects of the company’s financial strategy and operations, including budgeting and planning, accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting. Jackson, a former PwC partner, is bringing 40 years of experience, both as a CFO of public and private companies, and an assurance partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Wayne’s financial and operational expertise, as well as his extensive experience as CFO of a publicly traded company, will provide USAT with the leadership needed for this position, as we continue to execute on our business transformation,” said Sean Feeney, Chief Executive Officer, USA Technologies.
Mr. Jackson is joining USA Technologies after serving 4 years as the CFO of Secureworks Corp., a leading software-driven cybersecurity services provider. While there, he led the finance and accounting functions, as well as investor relations, procurement, IT, M&A efforts, and was instrumental in the company’s 2016 spinoff from Dell and subsequent IPO.
Mr. Jackson, during his tenure with PwC, served in a variety of roles and was the lead engagement partner for several of the firm’s largest public company clients, including The Walt Disney Company, Time Warner and Bell South Corporation, which were all part of PWC’s Entertainment, Media and Communications group. Prior to that, he was the CFO and Senior VP of Concert Communications Services, a global joint venture created by AT&T Inc. and British Telecommunications plc. He holds a B.S. from the University of Alabama. He is a member of The University of Alabama School of Commerce Board of Advisors, and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
