The Big Story

ABN AMRO has launched BUUT, a neobank designed to empower young people with smarter money management tools, built in collaboration with Mambu, the SaaS cloud banking platform. Delivered to market in just 12 months, BUUT demonstrates the speed, agility and digital-first focus driving the future of financial services.

BUUT provides a full suite of financial services within a single intuitive mobile app, including a Dutch IBAN account, savings and budgeting tools, payments and cards. By leveraging Mambu’s composable cloud platform, ABN AMRO is able to deliver seamless IBAN administration and core banking services that underpin BUUT’s payment and savings capabilities.

The launch of BUUT reflects ABN AMRO’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity and trust. With a proven track record of building successful digital ventures such as New10 in 2016, the bank continues to extend its ecosystem through partnerships that combine technological innovation with customer-centric design.
