Tencent Cloud and Simpaisa team up for cloud transformation

FinTech and digital payments provider Simpaisa have collaborated with Tencent Cloud, a global technology company, to explore a large-scale cloud transformation.

The partnership aims to optimise infrastructure efficiency while upholding the strict security, governance, and regulatory requirements vital to financial services operations.

As part of the joint initiative, Simpaisa is working closely with Tencent Cloud to assess a future-ready operating model spanning its entire technology ecosystem. Tencent Cloud is supplying targeted architectural guidance, migration support, and deep infrastructure expertise to validate a proposed target environment.

The assessment covers a diverse area of technical workloads, including more than 50 compute instances, over 50 Kubernetes-based application pods, multiple database technologies, messaging systems, and monitoring tools.

By integrating Tencent Cloud’s financial-grade infrastructure, the assessment also heavily evaluates cloud-native security controls. This ensures that operational cost-efficiency and scaling goals can be achieved without ever compromising compliance standards or data protection.
