The acquisition has added additiv’s wealth management and orchestration capabilities to Temenos’ portfolio, as the banking technology provider has sought to broaden its presence in the wealth management segment. According to Temenos, additiv’s platform has been used by financial institutions across wealth management, banking and insurance to support the delivery of digital financial services.
Takis Spiliopoulos, CEO and Interim CFO of Temenos, said, “This acquisition strengthens our Wealth proposition at a time when we see strong, growing demand for our products across tiers and geographies in the Wealth segment. additiv’s capabilities complement our platform and will help clients deliver personalised and compliant wealth services at scale.”
The transaction has come amid continued investment by financial institutions in digital wealth management capabilities and AI-enabled technologies aimed at supporting client servicing and operational processes.
Temenos has stated that additiv’s technology has complemented its existing banking platform and has expanded the range of services available to banks and wealth managers using its solutions.
Michael Stemmle, Founder of additiv, said, “Joining Temenos creates an opportunity to scale our orchestration platform globally while continuing to support innovation for financial institutions and their customers.”
Following completion, additiv has continued to operate under its existing brand and has maintained support for its clients and partners. The acquisition has remained subject to customary closing conditions, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2026.
Temenos has said the transaction has been structured as a combination of cash and equity consideration.
