Temenos, Cloud Banking Platform, Battle Financial, Temenos Banking Cloud, Battle Bank, F.D.I.C., Regulatory, Traditional Banking, USATemenos AG announced the appointment of Roman Bartik as President Americas to accelerate and scale expansion in the region.

Roman will be responsible for all day-to-day operations, strategy and profitability in North and South America, effective immediately. Roman joins the company’s management board and reports to Temenos’ President and Chief Revenue Officer, Erich Gerber.

Roman is an accomplished US executive with over 30 years of experience building sales organizations for large technology companies in enterprise software and cloud services. Roman has held senior executive positions throughout his career, consistently leading global teams to boost market presence and drive measurable growth, particularly in subscription-based models.

Roman joins Temenos from SingleStore, where he was Vice President and General Manager of Sales and Sales Development and successfully led the company’s Cloud Database as a Service launch and go-to-market. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at TIBCO Software, where he held numerous global leadership positions across sales, alliances, and business development, building fast-growing SaaS business lines and expanding into new markets and segments.

Roman Bartik, President Americas, Temenos, said: “I am very excited to join Temenos, the leading banking platform company. Working together with this incredibly talented team we can accelerate innovation and growth across all banking tiers and segments in the Americas. Banks and businesses now more than ever need agile and open cloud platforms to reshape and create new business models. This represents an enormous opportunity for Temenos to help clients scale, create better engagement with their customers and drive value creation. I look forward to leveraging my global technology experience to make a difference together with our partners and the Temenos team.”

Erich Gerber, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Temenos, said: “I am delighted to welcome Roman to Temenos as our President Americas. He is a charismatic leader who has built a reputation for his operational excellence and his effectiveness in growing teams that drive revenue growth and profitability.

North America is a highly strategic region for Temenos, having tripled in size since 2014 to represent 33% of our business in 2021. With the best customer references in the industry such as PayPal, Green Dot, Varo and Commerce Bank amongst others, and having invested significantly over the past 10 years in making our products fully compliant with U.S. regulations, we are now in a position to accelerate our sales efforts and growth and keep growing our North America business ahead of our global growth. Roman is the ideal executive to achieve this. Going forward, we expect it to be 40-45% of our business by 2025, which means that it will grow twice as fast as the overall company.

With Roman’s laser focus on customer success, we can empower incumbent and non-incumbent players to deliver new products, build new business models and deliver superior experiences to their customers.”
