The Children’s ISA (TCI), has migrated 126,000 of its ISA and Junior ISA (JISA) accounts from Embark (FNZ) to Quai Digital’s platform, powered by WealthOS technology. Completed in just seven months, the migration is among the largest of its kind out of FNZ, significantly faster than typical mass transfers in the industry.

Quai Digital, a white-label digital savings and investment platform provider since 2011, executed the end-to-end migration, replacing TCI’s nine-year reliance on FNZ and Embark. Leveraging WealthOS’s advanced infrastructure, the migration encompassed full account transfers, bulk cash and asset movement, and reconciliation, while maintaining uninterrupted service for investors.

The WealthOS-powered platform enabled a streamlined, single-phase migration, addressing complex operational challenges including bulk contribution uploads, inactive account management, duplicate direct debits, and other data inconsistencies. Daily collaboration between Quai Digital, WealthOS, and TCI ensured compliance, accuracy, and operational integrity throughout. The physical transfer of accounts, cash, and assets was completed within four weeks of the engagement’s commencement.

Mark Albinson, Founder of TCI, said, “Quai Digital offered modern technology and a client-first service that others could not. Their API-driven platform, powered by WealthOS, enabled an iterative rollout that eased migration pressures and now provides the scalability we need to modernise and expand our operations.”

Tony Webb, CEO of Quai Digital, added, “By combining operational and regulatory expertise with WealthOS technology, we are setting a new standard for complex migrations, delivering reliability at scale and continuity for investors.”

Anton Padmasiri, Co-Founder and CEO of WealthOS, commented, “Successfully migrating 126,000 accounts within seven months demonstrates what can be achieved with purpose-built infrastructure, protecting investors and building confidence.”

For TCI’s clients, including thousands supported through the Share Foundation charity, savings are now held on a resilient, modern platform designed for long-term security and enhanced service.

This migration marks Quai Digital’s second major implementation using WealthOS technology. By year-end, over 130,000 accounts across three clients, with assets exceeding £400 million, will have been migrated, providing a scalable foundation for growth and reinforcing competition in the UK wealth management market.
