Tandem Bank rolls out new banking platform with intive

tandemUK-based challenger Tandem Bank announced the launch of a new banking platform along with enhanced banking services for its customers. Tandem and intive have collaborated for the development of a scalable banking platform that aggregates services and simplifies financial products’ optimization.

“A new, rebuilt platform gives us the flexibility to develop and distribute tailored products to our customers better and quicker than ever. intive have been great in helping us achieve what we want on a technical basis without compromising our recent move to be the Good Green Bank. Their deep technical expertise, proactive attitude and huge domain knowledge were crucial to making this happen,” said Noam Zeigerson, Chief Data and Technology Officer at Tandem Bank.

intive has been collaborating with Tandem Bank since 2015, providing services in UX design, product development and optimization, mobile engineering, backend engineering, AI, machine learning and Big Data.

Recently, Tandem Bank announced the launch of a new Green Instant Access Saver in a bid to strengthen its position as a green digital bank. In a recent survey carried out by the bank, almost two-thirds of customers said they would switch banks if they were more environmentally friendly. The new website allows customers to download the app and leverage its saving option with an interest rate of 0.5% AER.
