Standard Bank taps TraydFund for trade asset distribution

Standard Bank adopted TraydFund, Traydstream’s bank-to-bank trade asset distribution platform, becoming the first client in Africa and the META region to implement the solution.
TraydFund is a bank-to-bank trade asset distribution engine that enables banks to distribute and invest in trade assets through a secure digital environment. The platform supports direct engagement between participating institutions, as well as negotiation, document exchange and improved visibility throughout the transaction lifecycle.
By adopting TraydFund, Standard Bank gained access to Traydstream’s global banking network, enabling the bank to enhance its distribution capabilities, strengthen connections with banking counterparties and support future growth opportunities in trade finance.
The renewed agreement also established a framework for deeper collaboration between the two organisations and further expansion across the region.

Standard Bank Group and Traydstream, which has spanned more than seven years. Standard Bank was Traydstream’s first platform client, and the two organisations have continued to expand their collaboration through trade finance innovation initiatives.
