Stanbic Bank Uganda to implement Panamax Agency Banking Solution

Panamax, a global provider of FinTech and telecom solutions, has partnered with Stanbic Bank Uganda, part of the Standard Bank Group, to deploy its Agency Banking solution.

As per a public post, Agency banking continues to reshape financial inclusion dynamics in Africa, offering vital services to previously underserved populations.

Amir Yazdanpanah, Chief Business Development Officer Panamax Inc., said, “ We are very excited that our MobiFin Banking and Payments platform and out-of-the-box solutions continue to enable Financial Institutions, Telcos, and Fintechs to innovate faster.”

Panamax offers the digital financial platform MobiFin, which has made digital finances a reality in several countries. As part of its digital financial offerings, the company provides Core Banking System, e-Lend, and smart biometrics solutions. The Revenue Management solutions developed by Panamax include BillCall, Fraud Management, and Revenue Assurance to ensure complete financial management for carriers. At the same time, the switching and transcoding needs are taken care of by iMax Class-4 Softswitch and Bridge2Call Enterprise Retail Switch.
