Stableton chooses fundcraft for digital fund operations
By Gloria Methri
fundcraft, a provider of digital fund operations, has announced that Stableton Financial AG, a FinTech platform and investment firm specialising in privately held, late-stage growth companies, has expanded its partnership with fundcraft’s fund administration infrastructure.
Stableton, which seeks to democratise access to growth equity and pre-IPO investments, is using fundcraft as the engine room of its platform to support demand from multiple types of investors.
Since moving to fundcraft, Stableton has invested in more than 25 tech unicorns through secondary opportunities. Stableton, which currently manages CHF 250 million, targets EUR 1 billion in private company investments with its Stableton Unicorn Top 20 Fund.
Stableton also offers investors greater exposure to individual unicorns through its Co-Investment fund, allowing LPs to benefit from an index-like, low-cost approach while providing the ability to double down on specific opportunities.
Andreas Bezner, Co-Founder and CEO of Stableton, said, “At Stableton, we are seeking to become the Vanguard of private markets, bringing transparency and ease of access to an infamously opaque and fragmented market. To realise our mission, we turn the complex into the simple, and fundcraft has been instrumental in making this happen. It is a truly digital fund operations platform with the associated high levels of flexibility and automation, which is unique in the market.”
Konstantin Heiermann, Co-Founder, Managing Partner & CFO at Stableton, added, “fundcraft’s intuitive platform has not only seamlessly blended into our day-to-day operations but has also significantly improved our operational efficiency. Its automation of back-office tasks enables us to launch new investment vehicles at speed, and the team that we work with is able to respond to our questions and projects quickly and professionally. We are now equipped with the confidence to meet tax, regulatory, and investor demands with unmatched precision and ease, thanks to fundcraft.”
Commenting on this milestone, Olga Porro, Chief Product Officer at fundcraft, said, “It gives us great pride to work with cutting-edge companies like Stableton, who are challenging the status quo. By digitising the full suite of fund operations – from client onboarding to reporting – we provide a platform to innovators that gives them the flexibility, automation and transparency to launch new structures quickly and to operate new business models. This is a true partnership, and we are looking forward to transforming private market investing together.”
