Skaleet, Helios, IBSi Digital Banking Awards 2025 Skaleet, a provider of next-generation core banking solutions and Helios, a French green neobank, have been named the Category Winner for “Customer & Program Impact” at the IBS Intelligence Digital Banking Awards 2025. The recognition highlights the results of their recent digital banking initiative, which aims to enhance customer experience and operational performance.

The IBSi Digital Banking Awards celebrate the most innovative and impactful technology implementation projects in the global banking sector. This year’s competition recognised outstanding achievements among digital-only banks, neo-challenger banks, and the technology partners driving digital transformation worldwide.

The award for “Customer & Program Impact” highlights the tangible benefits delivered by Skaleet and Helios through their collaborative digital banking initiative. The recognition reflects the project’s success in enhancing customer experience and setting new standards for digital banking excellence. The two firms collaborated to transition Helios from a Banking-as-a-Service (Baas) model with SolarisBank to a modular Saas-based infrastructure that integrates both proprietary and third-party technologies.

Over one year, Helios migrated its customer base, tripled its monthly customer acquisition rates, and doubled its gross margin compared to its Baas peers, while also launching new banking products.

The IBSi Awards jury recognised the project for delivering measurable customer and program outcomes, as well as demonstrating a scalable approach to modern core banking implementation.

“This shift in core banking architecture marks a major milestone in Helios’ path to independence, enabling a more agile banking platform tailored to both market demands and the growth of our customer base. We are proud to receive this recognition, which underscores our unique approach — combining in-house developments with the strengths of Skaleet’s core banking modules,” said Maeva Courtois, CEO of Helios.

“We are honoured to be recognised by IBS Intelligence for our work with Helios. This award is a testament to our commitment to designing and building future-proof technology ecosystems that combine Helios inhouse assets with best-of-breed SaaS solutions,” added Martin Della Chiesa, CEO of Skaleet, “Together with Helios, we have demonstrated how modern technologies and a buy and build approach can drive quick product time-to-market and game-changing unit economics.”
