Santander UK appoints Tracie Pearce as the new Chief Customer Officer for Homes

Santander UK has recently announced the appointment of Tracie Pearce as the new Chief Customer Officer for Homes. She will be responsible for supporting customers in all aspects of financing their homes. She will also lead the strategic development, digital transformation and innovation of the company’s mortgage business in the UK. She will join the Executive Committee of Santander UK and the Retail Executive Team for Europe.
Apart from this, she will also hold the position of the Regional Busines Owner for Homes across Europe and assist in enhancing customer experience across all European markets.
Santander UK CEO, Nathan Bostock said, “Tracie has exceptional knowledge of the UK mortgage market, twinned with proven leadership capability and an excellent record of delivery. Her experience, drive and customer-centric approach will be a huge asset to the bank as we look to transform our mortgage business in the UK and across the European region.”
Tracie currently works as the Director of Retail Banking at HSBC UK. She has worked across a range of Building Societies in a number of product roles, including eight years at Nationwide, leading mortgages and then savings.
Tracie Pearce said, “I am delighted to be joining Santander in this new role, which for the first time brings together all parts of the Home journey. I am looking forward to working with teams in the UK and Europe to develop and expand the range of solutions to meet the needs of our customer base.”
Recently, international money transfer service provider, PagoFX announced that it is now available in Spain. The service is a part of PagoNxt, an autonomous business created by Banco Santander. PagoFX will allow residents in Spain with any debit or credit card to send money abroad via their smartphone.
