RevRag AI raises $2.5m seed round led by Accion Ventures and Cedar Hill Capital to build AI relationship managers for financial service providers
By Divya Shah
Mumbai, October 14, 2026 — RevRag AI, an AI agent platform for the banking, Financial Services, and insurance (BFSI) sector, announced that it has raised a $2.5 million seed round led by Accion Ventures with Cedar Hill Capital, Wyser, and Venture Catalysts participating in the round, which will fund product development, more enterprise deployments, and the company’s move into the U.S. This follows RevRag’s pre-seed round from Powerhouse Ventures and marquee angel investors like Kunal Shah Founder CRED, and Madhusudan, Founder Kreditbee.
In India, despite nearly 90% of adults having financial accounts, digital adoption remains low, with just 54% of account owners using digital payments. These drop‑offs stem from structural barriers faced by underserved users, including difficulty navigating English interfaces, low familiarity with formal financial terminology, and limited trust in fully digital systems. Low- and middle-income customers are typically supported via call centers that are constrained by a lack of real‑time app context and standardized scripts.
RevRag AI builds multilingual AI agents that sit inside the apps of banks, lenders, FinTech and InsurTech companies and act as relationship managers for their customers. The agents plug directly into providers’ workflows to run digital onboarding, sales and support, helping companies cut drop-offs and grow revenue at up to 70% lower cost. RevRag currently works with more than 45 financial institutions, including PhonePe, Bajaj Finance, Motilal Oswal, IIFL, Aditya Birla Capital, Aditya Birla Money, DCB Bank, Jar, Moneyview, Razorpay, Kissht and Easebuzz.
Ashutosh Singh, Founder and CEO, RevRag AI, said: “A good relationship manager knows you, tells you what to do next, and handles it for you. Very few customers ever get one. We think every financial app should work that way, and that is what we are building. We have proved it with some of India’s largest financial institutions, and this round lets us double down on the idea and execution.”
Rahil Rangwala, Managing Partner, Accion Ventures, added: “We believe RevRag’s sophisticated AI-powered in-app agents are revolutionising how financial institutions serve millions of people with limited digital and financial literacy. At Accion Ventures, we see their approach of earning the end users’ trust as core to making Financial Services more accessible and usable.”
Sahil Anand, Managing Partner, Cedar Hill Capital, added: “What makes RevRag unique is that its agents don’t sit outside the customer journey, but rather sit inside, and support various workflows and app complexities. As digital transformation and app journeys across the region become deeper and sophisticated, RevRag’s ability to help guide these journeys will be crucial. We will heavily leverage Cedar Hill Capital and the wider Cedar platform’s Financial Services network across the region to help the market discover RevRag.”
