Profinch appoints Himanshu Tewari to lead enterprise applications delivery
By Vriti Gothi

Profinch, a specialist global technology leader enabling transformation across the BFSI operating landscape, has appointed Himanshu Tewari as Head of Enterprise Applications Delivery as part of efforts to strengthen its enterprise applications strategy and support financial institutions undertaking large-scale modernisation programmes.
The move comes as banks and insurers increasingly prioritise platform transformation initiatives that extend beyond legacy system replacement. Institutions are focusing on faster digital deployment, embedded data and analytics for real-time decision-making, AI-driven automation, and platform models capable of scaling across products, business lines, and geographies.
Profinch said the appointment aligns with its plan to expand capabilities across digital platforms, productised business and corporate applications, data and analytics, AI and machine learning, embedded finance, and cards and payments. The strategy emphasises the use of reusable frameworks, delivery accelerators, and scalable operating models aimed at improving implementation speed and reducing execution risk for complex transformation programmes.
In his new role, Tewari will focus on scaling enterprise-grade delivery, developing reusable digital and business accelerators, and strengthening AI- and analytics-led platform capabilities across client engagements.
Tewari brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise platforms, digital transformation initiatives, payments modernisation, and multi-country system implementation programmes.
The appointment reflects a broader shift across the banking, financial services, and insurance sector, where technology providers are moving towards accelerator-led transformation models designed to deliver faster value realisation and more predictable implementation outcomes.
Profinch said the expanded enterprise applications focus builds on its existing work delivering transformation programmes across core banking, digital platforms, analytics, risk and compliance, insurance systems, and managed services.
