Profile Software strengthens UK business with Contemi integration
By Vriti Gothi

Profile Software has strengthened its position in the UK investment management market following the full integration of Contemi Solutions into its operations, after completing the acquisition of the London-based firm in February 2026.
The move consolidates Contemi’s client base, technology stack and workforce within Profile’s investment management division, signalling a strategic push to scale its presence in one of Europe’s most complex and competitive financial markets.
At the centre of the integration is Contemi’s WIN platform, a solution with over two decades of deployment across Tier I and Tier II financial institutions. The system has now been incorporated into Profile’s AXIA platform, extending its capabilities across front-to-back investment operations. The combined platform is designed to serve wealth managers, asset managers, custodians and investment firms operating in the UK.
The enhanced offering introduces additional functionality tailored to local market requirements, including regulatory alignment and operational workflows specific to the UK. It also supports key industry developments such as the transition to T+1 settlement cycles and increased compliance demands under the Consumer Duty framework, both of which are reshaping operational priorities for financial institutions.
The integration comes amid growing pressure on UK investment firms to modernise legacy systems while meeting evolving regulatory expectations set by the Financial Conduct Authority. Firms are also being driven to improve transparency and deliver more client-centric digital experiences, accelerating demand for cloud-based and AI-enabled platforms.
By embedding WIN into AXIA’s cloud-native architecture, Profile aims to deliver greater localisation, scalability and implementation speed. The company stated that existing clients of Contemi will continue to receive full support during the transition period.
The development reflects a broader trend of consolidation and platform expansion within the investment technology sector, as providers seek to combine domain expertise with scalable infrastructure to address increasing regulatory complexity and operational demands.
