UK headquartered WealthAI has appointed Pratim Das as its new chief technology officer and head of product, as it looks to scale its AI platform for wealth management. Das brings over 25 years of experience, with previous roles at Microsoft, IFPI, AWS and Capgemini Invent, where he led cloud, data and AI engineering initiatives.

Founded in 2023 by CEO Jason Nabi, the company launched its AI operating system last year, designed specifically for wealth managers. The platform integrates with existing systems and provides intelligence assistants alongside specialised AI agents across compliance, investment, research and operations.

To support its early growth, WealthAi raised $1 million in pre-seed funding in January, led by Fuel Ventures and Founders Factory.

Das brings over 25 years of experience, with previous roles at Microsoft, IFPI, AWS and Capgemini Invent, where he led cloud, data and AI engineering initiatives.

Nabi said, “Pratim’s vast experience in helping businesses navigate the fast-evolving AI landscape, along with his background in deploying AI, will bring greater confidence to the industry.”

The company has also appointed Harry Kyprianou as head of product. He joins from Rathbones, where he spent nine years and led the rollout of an AI-driven meeting intelligence platform.

The new appointments are expected to support WealthAi’s continued expansion as demand for AI solutions in wealth management grows.
