Paysafe has partnered with Primer to extend card payment processing capabilities to online merchants through Primer’s unified payments infrastructure.

The integration has connected Paysafe to Primer via the no-code Primer for Partners solution, enabling merchants using the platform to access credit and debit card processing through a single payments ecosystem. The collaboration has been designed to simplify payment acceptance while providing merchants with greater flexibility in selecting and routing transactions through their preferred payment service providers.

Rob Gatto, Chief Revenue Officer at Paysafe, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Primer, whose Primer for Partners solution empowered Paysafe to develop a bespoke integration, streamlining the payment journey for Primer’s merchant partners and their customers.”

The addition of Paysafe has strengthened Primer’s payment orchestration platform by expanding the range of payment providers available to merchants operating across multiple markets. Transactions have been processed through Paysafe’s payments infrastructure, which has supported card acquiring and payment optimisation for more than three decades.

Gabriel Le Roux, CEO and Co-founder of Primer, said: “For our merchants, having Paysafe accessible through Primer means more choice, better coverage and faster access to a payment provider that’s been optimising card performance for decades.”

The partnership has also enabled Paysafe to tailor its integration for merchants operating internationally across sectors including eCommerce, travel, iGaming, social gaming and financial trading. Using Primer for Partners, Paysafe’s technology team has managed the integration independently without requiring custom coding, allowing the company to accelerate deployment and future enhancements.

The integration has already gone live for merchants with operations across North America, Europe and Australasia. Future developments have been expected to include the addition of Paysafe’s local payment methods, including the Skrill and Neteller digital wallets as well as PaysafeCard and PaysafeCash.

The partnership has reflected continued demand for payment orchestration platforms that simplify integrations while enabling merchants to expand payment choice and improve transaction performance across global markets.
