PayGlocal enables Indian merchants to accept Apple Pay for global payments
By Puja Sharma

PayGlocal, an Indian cross-border payments company, has added Apple Pay to its international checkout, allowing Indian merchants to accept payments from customers around the world. The integration provides businesses with a widely recognised and trusted payment option, addressing a common challenge in cross-border commerce: offering payment methods familiar to international buyers.
This addition helps reduce checkout drop-offs, increase transaction success rates, and improve overall customer trust. Merchants using PayGlocal can now accept payments from over 180 countries without needing to manage complex local banking arrangements or additional compliance processes.
The platform handles the entire Apple Pay flow, including compliance and security requirements, so that merchants can go live quickly and without additional technical work. Tokenised transactions prevent unauthorised use, while PayGlocal’s fraud controls provide an extra layer of protection for both buyers and sellers.
“At PayGlocal, our focus has always been on making global payments simple and reliable for Indian businesses. Apple Pay is one of the most trusted ways to pay worldwide, and with this launch, Indian merchants, from startups to large enterprises, can now give their customers that same fast, seamless checkout experience,” said Yogesh Lokhande, Co-founder and CTO, PayGlocal.
He added, “For us, it’s about enabling Indian businesses to deliver the kind of world-class payment journey that global brands are known for, all with a single tap.”
PayGlocal’s infrastructure already supports thousands of merchants across sectors including retail, travel, education, SaaS, and exports. The integration of Apple Pay adds a globally recognised, secure, and efficient payment method, helping Indian businesses increase conversions, capture international demand, and simplify cross-border transactions.
By enabling familiar payment methods and improving transaction transparency, PayGlocal aims to strengthen India’s position in global commerce and provide businesses with the tools to compete effectively on the international stage.
