OpenTextOpenText has expanded its Secure Cloud platform, unveiling new capabilities designed to help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in India and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) region deliver comprehensive cybersecurity services with greater efficiency and scale.

The enhanced platform introduces automated provisioning, integrated task management, enriched product recommendations, and streamlined billing and reporting, enabling MSPs to simplify operations while driving customer growth and retention. These advancements follow OpenText’s acquisition of Zix in 2021 and reflect ongoing investment in Secure Cloud to support APAC’s fast-growing managed services sector.

According to Canalys, managed services are set to grow at 14.8% CAGR to US$80.9 billion, with cybersecurity spending in APAC expected to reach US$47 billion by 2027. In India, the managed services market is projected to expand at 8.7% CAGR, reaching INR 93,197.3 crore by 2033, fuelled by rapid digital transformation, AI-driven threats, and regulatory demands.

Steve Stavridis, Regional Vice President, APAC, OpenText Cybersecurity, said, “At OpenText, we’re seeing a clear shift among our partners in India toward managed services and hybrid delivery models. Our Secure Cloud enhancements are built to help MSPs meet rising data privacy and compliance demands under frameworks such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, while delivering robust, end-to-end security at scale.”

The Secure Cloud release features a modernised interface with optimised MSP workflows, data-driven security recommendations, and a full suite of multi-tenanted solutions, including endpoint protection, email security, MDR/EDR, and cloud-to-cloud backup.

With more than 100,000 small and medium-sized businesses globally already relying on Secure Cloud, these enhancements position OpenText and its partners to strengthen resilience, profitability, and trust in the digital economy.
